Recently I've been wondering, "self, why are you so excited to go back to San Diego?" I mean, don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed... correction LOVED going to school down there, that's really all I did. Went to school. Oh and work way too much sometimes. So this time around I vow to do it differently. I want to make San Diego my city and my home. I want to go to the quirky places that tourists don't go to and I never want to stop playing tourist in my home city. I want to know more about San Diego and just explore.
Possible suggestions for me:
Favourite coffee shop
Favourite "ethnic" cuisine place
Favourite dessert place
Favourite place to get BBQ
Favourite place... you get the picture :)

ReplyDeleteFletcher's Cove in Solana Beach + Roberto's Mexican food for lunch = Best Beach Day
ReplyDeleteBe sure to check out the Hideaway Cafe in Solana Beach. Super cute little hut covered in ivy with the BEST breakfast!
There is also Board & Brew in Del Mar... you have to try the Chicken Club sandwich! O I miss this!
Fidel's in Solana Beach is by far the best Mexican Restaurant in SD... yum :)
ok... off the food topic.
If you can find someone with a boat, cruise around mission bay. You can watch the Sea World show from the water or catch fireworks at night time.
If you cant find a Boat... you can always ride around the bay on a bike :)
More stuff on a bike... you can ride around downtown then take the ferry to Coranado Island and go exploring.
Ok that is all for right now! Have an amazing time!
