Kids say the darndest things!

My boss has two kids (one is 10 and the other is seven) and this morning we were talking about the funny things they've said in the past and this one is by far my favorite.

Yesterday, I asked Macey (7 yr old) who she was rooting for, Brazil or the Netherlands. She said, "Brazil becuase I don't like pirates". I thought, what are they teaching kids in second grade... why would they discuss dutch pirates? I was telling Michelle the story later, so she asked Macey where she heard about pirates from the Netherlands. Macey said, "from Peter Pan"... ah, yes, Neverland...

Background... it's the World Cup and my boss is a pretty big soccer fan. Oh and Michelle is his wife. Gotta love how kids think and what they say!
