Welcome to the real world...

If you've been following my blogs within the past few days, it's hard to miss the fact that I would be finishing up my final finals today and that I would officially be done with my undergraduate career. Well.... I DID IT!! As of 11:44am Pacific Standard Time, I, Noelle Allyse Seybert finished my Spanish 102 final, thus making me a college graduate. *cue happy dance*

So after walking to the front of the room, turning in my scantron sheet and question packet, I calmly walked out of 105 B and did a little dance in the hallway of Bond Academic Center and then walked with a little skip in my step back to my Flex Apartment to finishing packing up and to check out. It was a very surreal and proud moment in my life. *deep breath* again... I DID IT!! Wow...

So today started off AMAZING despite the fact I knew I would be done with college within hours of opening my eyes. I woke up to an email from Simply Clear Marketing, which is an event planning and marketing company in San Luis Obispo, wanting to set up and interview with me in January. Wow!! What an answer to prayer! Here I've been complaining about the job marketing and telling you all about articles in the BBC telling me about five-hundred thousand plus jobs cut in November and how I keep getting "thanks, but no thanks" emails from what seems like every job I apply for and then BOOM I get this email. What a great day!

BUT WAIT! It gets BETTER!

So after finishing up with everything I needed to do at PLNU, I finally get on the road with Ryan to head to Disneyland... as I'm at a red light, I check my email on my phone and I get another email wanting an interview!!! WOW!! This time it's from Experts-Exchange. It's a tech company, but I would be working within their marketing department. The Director of Marketing complimented my résumé and said he wanted to set up a time to meet to see what I was looking for and see if Experts-Exchange had a spot I could fill. Wow! God is truly amazing!

I have a tattoo on my foot that I got this October and it says, "For we walk by faith..." 2 Corinthians 5:7. This whole searching for a job process has been a great testament to that verse. I had (and still kind of have) no idea what was going to happen next after graduation and once I moved home and got my stuff unpacked. I was just going to keep sending my résumé out to anywhere and everywhere I was remotely qualified for and hope for the best. Well, today has definitely been one to remember in terms of GREAT days. *sigh*

Well it's time to read my first book for pleasure!! I purchased Marley & Me by John Grogan so I could finish it before the movie comes out on Christmas Day. Ryan said he'd take me to see it, so I'm pretty excited!

Anyways, I'm heading to bed so I can get up bright and early and get to Disneyland when it opens tomorrow at 8am!!

Until next time!!
